- Shipping Agency
a.We act as agent and provide services to Taiwan’s vessels and those from overseas in entry, departure, cargo handling at Taichung Port as well as affairs with ship owners. We maintain good relationship with Taiwan International Ports Corp., the customs and administrating pilots’ office, and are well able to communicate and coordinate in all kinds of emergency.
b.We have abundant experience as agent for various major goods, like coal, LNG, grain (yellow bean, corn, wheat), log, fertilizer, cement, pulp, steel products, stones and iron ore. We are also experienced as agent for offshore wind power work vessel and can organize matters from work permits for vessels and crew to the cooperative operations.
c.Specifically, the affairs of shipping agency include emigration/immigration and embarkation/disembarkation for crew and technicians, shipping and dispatch of supplies for vessels, assistance in disposal of vessel wastes, arranging water and fuel refilling to vessel, and assistance in purchasing necessary items, etc.
- Warehousing & Logistics
a.We have two logistic warehouses in the peripheral of Taichung Port to provide storage of goods and shipment to the Port or any place in and outside of Taiwan. Goods are stored and managed with modernized system, while services of rapid shipment and customs clearance and others are provided.
b.With the experience related to offshore wind power work vessels, we understand the need of these vessels for fast services due to tight schedule. In logistics, we also place priority to service to these work vessels based on the urgency of goods, so as avoid delay in working schedule. Our coworkers of shipping agency also cooperate on services for general merchant ships and cargo ships alike.
- Shore Crane and Transportation
a.We cooperate with specialized crane and transport companies that work closely with us and we also hold part of their company shares, providing equipment and services service that range from crane trucks to 500-ton shore cranes; if necessary, they are also able to provide 1,200-ton cranes.
b.For transportation, we have access to trucks and trailers of all types as well as vehicles of special specifications, such as oversize and super-low bed truck. We also have access to SPMT for transporting ultra-long or ultra-weighted equipment.
c.When providing crane services, we also provide Safe Lift Plan as well as the wire ropes, shackles and the specification chart of crane operating radius to support the lift plan.
d.When providing transport services, we also provide Safe Transportation Plan, along with the table of carrier load capacity and specifications to support the transportation plan.
e.Every worker observes the rules of operation safety. Besides workers’ own safety equipment (such as helmet, goggles, reflecting vest and safe boots), we also make plan of safe operating scope and safety personnel to prevent irrelevant persons from entering the working area.
- Welding, Cutting, and Services
a.We provide onboard welding, cutting, grinding and repainting services. There are specialized technicians, equipped with necessary equipment and electricity generators, to provide most efficient and safe services. As onboard welding and cutting are different from average operations, the technicians from us all possess specialty certificates and abundant experience in working onboard. Besides onboard operations, the services like maintenance of large machinery are provided, too.
b.Our subsidiary companies provide labor services in complementary to the welding and cutting works. We are adequately staffed to provide services of recycling, selling and transporting scrap metal.
c.Every worker of our company observes the rules of operation safety. Besides their own safety equipment (such as helmet, goggles, reflecting vest and safe boots), we also make plan of safe operating scope and safety personnel to prevent irrelevant persons from entering the working area.
- Provision and Materials
a.We collaborate with professional ship chandlers, and there are warehouses provided for their use. Just about anything is provided, from foods, everyday supplies, to small equipment and materials required to use in operations, such as shackles, wire ropes, mini jacks and hydraulic tools.
b.Many manufacturers in Taiwan have relocated their plants in China in recent years due to cost issue; therefore, many materials must be imported from China or Southeast Asia. If you have such need, be sure to place orders early so as to reserve time for importing.
